I am a BA English student who thoroughly enjoys studying prose and poetry. I would like to teach English as a career and love to spread the knowledge of literature. In my spare time I enjoy drawing and creative writing.

My approach to tutoring is student-led, so it is fully based and structured on the student's needs. Before our first lesson, you will have completed an exam paper I send to you, which I will mark to walk you through in the session. I also ensure to fully read your exam texts myself, and not rely on 'teacher resources' online, meaning I can teach you all the relevant points needed to get the highest marks. For creative writing, a similar process will take place, but I will make sure that your creative voice still shines through in your work. Your progress will be monitored over small, regular tasks and assessments, or more focused, longer exams if preferred. These could be fully walked through with myself.
