GCSE & A Level Art teacher~ Passionate, fun and friendly qualified Art and Design & Ceramics teacher.

Leanne was my A-Level art teacher for two years! She is honest, kind, caring and helpful! She opened many avenues of creative thinking which helped both my personal and academic development. She is enthusiastic in all she does and created a safe, supported and enjoyable work space.

Leanne is one of the very few in education that cares about each individual child equally, she gives all of her time to every student and does a very good job at tending to their needs. She motivates and inspires the children every day, pushing the ones she know can try harder, and supporting the children that may need extra assistance. The reason I think she does this so well is because she takes the time to get to know each student, and this again all stems back to how much she cares. She’s truly passionate about her subject, and I know this because it isn’t just in her teaching, it is in every aspect of her life, and so from that I know it is genuine. As I was growing up, I found that I could talk to Leanne about most things, whether that be about school, or my personal life, she was always happen to listen and give her advice, and I knew that I could always trust her with what ever I did tell her. She even went so far to help me with other subjects, more with the relationships I had with other tutors that got in the way of my education, but she did everything in her power to help me. I wasn’t the easiest child to deal with, but she never gave up on me because she could see the potential I had to give, and that’s only from my personal experience I can say that, but I also know of friends that she acted in the exact same way with. I’m honestly really grateful that I had Leanne to guide me all through school and sixth form, because I don’t believe I would have got into university and at this stage in my life without her help.

Leanne is a trustworthy, reassuring and passionate tutor who helped me develop my own skills and allowed me to learn in a way that benefitted me. She is extremely patient and generous of her time. I am fortunate enough to have been taught by someone who has so much knowledge around ceramics and I couldn't recommend her enough as a tutor. She is excellent at what she does.

Leanne taught me for over 5 years at both GCSE and A-level. She is very talented across many media types and delivers lessons in a friendly and chatty way that really helps to improve your own techniques! Would highly recommend her if you're looking to learn something new.
