About Sara
I am a Year 12 A-level student, currently studying biology, chemistry and maths. I am predicted A* in each subject. I have recently completed the IB MYP, which has given me a strong foundation across the sciences and maths. I’m aiming to apply for medicine, which has allowed me to really grow my interest and ability to explain complex ideas clearly. Studying for the UCAT recently has surprisingly also improved my exam techniques further. As a current student, I am very familiar with the demand of exams and proper revision, as well as the pressure it can put on the student, so I aim to help build both understanding and confidence, and am more than happy to offer notes, resources and study advice alongside content. I have past tutoring experience with IBMYP students.

I will tailor the lesson to the student specifically, focusing on exploring areas the student finds to be weaker. Emphasis will be placed on building a clear understanding of topic content along with being able to apply the knowledge to exam-style questions. Having recently completed a similar level of study to GCSE (IBMYP), I am able to understand the common struggles and can provide explanation and tutoring in a relatable and understandable way. I would also be more than happy to assist the student with active recall and regular review to retain information long-term, as well as assistance with study habits if necessary.
