About Haseeb

I am a dedicated A-Level student with a good education history, for example, Grade 9s in English Language and English Literature. Having just achieved outstanding GCSE results, I understand the challenges of examinations and the secrets to success in them. I am a vibrant, tolerant, and proficient individual, and my intention is to make learning effective and fun. My goal is to help students gain confidence, develop their skills, and reach their potential. I have also briefly worked as Teacher at a Primary School, gaining me valuable classroom experience and knowledge of how to best assist younger students.

About the lesson

Tutoring Method
Every pupil learns differently, so my classes are tailored to the needs of each individual. I like to start with the identification of strengths and weaknesses, then break topics into easy-to-follow steps. It will be done in line with the student's exam board and what texts they have been studying (in line with secondary school English practice for slides and curriculums).

Lesson Structure
A typical lesson would last one hour, though this can be adjusted depending on age and focus. I normally have a short warm-up activity, then move on to the core activity (e.g., planning an essay, reading and analysis of a text, or creative writing), and finish with a review or comments session. Readings will be done where necessary, but students will typically complete the majority of reading outside of class so that our time together can be spent on analysis and test strategies.

Qualifications and Experience
I attained a Grade 9 in English Literature and English Language at GCSE and an 8 in History GCSE. I am studying A-Levels now and focusing on English heavily. Having just come through the exam process myself, I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to prepare best.

Who My Lessons Are For
I teach secondary school and GCSE level students. I also help students with essay writing, proofreading, and revising for exams. As well as grades, my mission is to make English fun and get students confident in their own work. My mission is to deliver lessons that are enjoyable and helpful, and therefore students feel comfortable speaking out what they believe and reaching their goals.
