About Nana
Honestly, the main reason I wanted to become a tutor, especially for maths and biology, is because of the love I have for both subjects.
During years 9 and 10, I struggled with maths and it frustrated me because I knew I needed good grades (8s and 9s) to peruse the Medical route smoothly. However, despite this, in my year 10 mocks I received a grade 6 in maths, which was a shock to the system honestly and became a wake up call for myself.I realised that it was either now or never and needed to pull my grades up.
By the end of year 11 I was predicted a grade 8 after my year 11 mocks and I’m hoping to receive an 8 on results day. I would like to help you to improve your grades as well to reach your potential and progress to where you want to get to in future!

- 1 on 1 tutoring experience allowing the Tutee to ask as many questions as they need to allow themselves full understanding.
- each lesson 1hr 30 minutes : first half an hour will be spent going over homework or work covered in previous lessons to consolidate understanding. The remaining hour will be spent teaching and going through exam questions and techniques.
- I personally don’t have much experience as a tutor and am still very new to this. However, I am willing to help and provide services in the areas in which I am strong in and have experience in.
- My lessons are aimed towards students in years 3-6 preparing for their SATs as well as students in years 9-11 for those preparing for their GCSEs.
