About Grace
I am a dedicated sixth form student currently studying Maths, Further Maths and Economics at A level, having achieved Grade 9s at GCSE and current predicted grades all A or above. I have a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping others succeed in their studies. My goal is to help students overcome any academic obstacles they may be facing and gain a liking for learning, ultimately enabling them to secure the best results they can! I am organised, reliable, and enthusiastic about my subjects, and I bring the same energy and commitment to tutoring as I do to my own studies. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can make real progress and even begin to enjoy the challenge of learning and tackling problems. Throughout school, I often found myself helping classmates to understand difficult topics, and I discovered that I really enjoy explaining ideas in a way that makes sense to others. Tutoring gives me the chance to share the methods and approaches that helped me succeed, while supporting students to build both their knowledge and their confidence.

As a sixth form student who achieved Grade 9s at GCSEs, I am able to deliver quality teaching that will help them to achieve the grades they want and build confidence, while still maintaining a comfortable and open learning environment. My teaching style is patient, structured, and adaptable; I focus on breaking down difficult concepts, building problem-solving skills, and tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style. I teach secondary and GCSE students (year 7-11), and am able to deliver high quality teaching in mathematics (both higher and foundation), chemistry, and other sciences. I am most specialised in Edexcel Higher mathematics, however, I can deliver the same calibre of tutoring in any exam board. Lessons will be 1 hour long, however, depending on availability I am also able to offer double sessions or other varying lengths. I offer a free 30-minute trial lesson to discuss goals and give students an introduction to my teaching style.
