About Nic
I am a passionate teacher of GCSE French and Spanish who has had success in helping students of all levels improve their language skills and write with confidence. I look to maximise your potential marks by focusing on the most effective structures and strategies to help your existing knowledge go further. My students tend to find they know more than they realise as I remove the anxiety from using a foreign language and help them unlock their full potential. I have experience teaching across all KS3 and KS4 year groups although I am also open to informal Spanish lessons with adults looking to expand their skillset. My lessons can be tailor made to your needs, although I will ensure there is a focus to each lesson and you will leave understanding how you have improved as well revisiting topics and grammatical concepts to consolidate knowledge and to build long term memory. Language learning is based on repetition, so often it can often seem a lengthy tedious process. However, I utilise a variety of activities and games to ensure it remains engaging and you quickly build a level or fluency you may have felt was unattainable. Furthermore, we can navigate topics to allow you to talk about the things that matter the most to you and allow you to express yourself freely in either French or Spanish.

I am a qualified teacher (PGCE from UCL’s Institute of Education) with experience teaching all KS3 and KS4 year groups. I have experience teaching GCSE classes in three extremely successful MFL departments in East London and South London. I can help develop tactics to increase marks without learning more language or focus on improving your Spanish skills and learning some transferable A-Level structures to wow the examiners!
