About Antonina
I am a 17-year-old student who moved to the UK from Poland two years ago. From my very first chemistry lesson, I absolutely fell in love with the subject, and I’m now on a journey towards studying chemistry at university and eventually pursuing a PhD. My dream is to work in a lab, surrounded by the exciting unknowns still waiting to be discovered. My biggest inspiration is Maria Skłodowska-Curie a fellow Polish scientist and the only person to win two Nobel Prizes in different sciences. Her discoveries of polonium and radium remind me that science has no limits, and I hope to pass on that same sense of curiosity and possibility to my students. I want to show younger learners that science is not only about memorising facts, it’s about exploring, questioning, and realising that even the sky is not the limit!

I’m a hardworking and supportive student who enjoys helping others understand their subjects. Having recently gone through GCSEs and now studying A-levels, I can connect with younger students and explain complex scientific concepts in a simple, easy-to-follow way. In my lessons, I first go through the topic in detail to make sure the basics are clear, then move on to practice through past paper questions, quizzes, and exam-style problems. This way, students not only understand the content but also gain confidence in applying it. I’m flexible and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of each student — whether that means breaking things down step by step, revising tricky topics, or focusing on exam preparation. My aim is always to make learning clear, engaging, and effective.
