About Sofia

I am motivated by seeing my tutees’ progress and I believe that everyone is capable of succeeding in Sciences!

I struggled with sciences and had tutors myself, so I want to help out others to do well in their studies, explore their interests, and ultimately go into whatever career they want.

About the lesson

- Recent MSc Drug Discovery and Pharma Management graduate from University College London (UCL); BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences graduate from University of Southampton.
- Previous tutoring experience from KS3 to A-Level working for charities.
- TEFL qualification (teaching English as a foreign language) taught me how to plan lessons and figure out the right approach to each pupil; I am happy to adapt to each tutee and help them discover what is the best way for them to learn.
- Previous experience working with children with learning disabilities through Oundle Mencap Holidays.
