About Jane
I am a maths teacher, having taught in top state schools in London, Hove and Newbury during the last 25+ years. I have been tutoring secondary students for the last 7 years, primarily from home. I enjoy the one to one nature, building a good relationship and confidence in my students.

My first step with any student is to understand what their personal difficulties are. Once this has been established, and it may also evolve over time, lessons are based around dealing with these difficulties. There may be specific maths skills that need to be developed or improved, in which case we would work on those specifics and build them into problem solving. A student may lack confidence, in which case we would seek to build confidence, working around areas of maths that are perhaps less familiar and helping to establish more familiarity.

A Level maths tuition - £42 per hr
Cancellation is free up to 24 hrs before scheduled lesson, otherwise the full amount is payable
