About Ambika
Currently, I am working on a post-doctoral research project at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland. During my PhD at CSIR-CSMCRI, I co-mentored 2 students for their post-graduate-level dissertations and assisted in lab maintenance to ensure precision in laboratory work. I now have 6+ years of experience performing laboratory experiments associated with microbial systematics, marine biotechnology, and environmental impact assessment. I believe microbial biotechnology has been intertwined in our daily lives for ages, and is also the future of conservation and sustainable living by being the epicenter of the One Health initiative. Being still an early-stage researcher in the field, I can encourage students to develop responsible citizenship and global-mindedness, as I can resonate well with the young mindset.
