About Dan
I am currently on a gap-year working as a Youth and Children's Worker before going to read Biomedical Sciences in Edinburgh. I have experience teaching upfront and 1:1 with young people.
I achieved an A in Biology A-Level and a B in Chemistry A-Level and A*s in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics GCSEs.
I'm happy to tutor Biology at any level up to and including A-Level or Chemistry at any level up to and including GCSE.

My teaching methodology is to let the student have-a-go, and discuss their strategy for a question, before attempting it together.
My lessons focus on understanding concepts rather than rote learning in order to equip students to be confident in tackling future questions.
Practice exam questions are a key element of my lessons as they are vital in better understanding what is required by the exam board and in building the student's confidence.
