About Umar
My name is Umar I’ve just finished my A-levels and am currently on a gap year. I know exactly how overwhelming school can feel — I’ve been through it recently myself. But I also know that with the right support, things start to click. I love teaching because I enjoy helping people go from “I don’t get it” to “Ohhh, that makes sense!” I’ve been the student who struggled, and I’ve been the one who figured it out — now I want to help others do the same. Whether you’re stuck on a tough topic or just want to feel more confident, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build real understanding — at your pace, in your style. As a recent A-level student on a gap year, I know how hard learning can feel when it’s not taught in the right way. I believe good teaching should be clear, personal, and confidence-building. Instead of just repeating textbook content, I focus on understanding how each student learns best. I use real-life examples, ask questions, and break things down in simple, relatable ways. My goal isn’t just to help students pass — it’s to help them understand, feel more capable, and even enjoy the process. Learning should empower, not intimidate.
