About Maddy
Hello I'm Maddy (she/her) and a medical doctor. I have 9 years of tutoring experience. I started private tutoring during my undergraduate degree, tutoring high school and early university students in the sciences. Since then I have tutored in secondary schools, and privately tutored many students in medical school entry exams - GAMSAT and UCAT - and helped with interview preparation and personal statements. I have a student-centred approach to tutoring, tailoring lessons around individual needs, using a collaborative approach to best suit your specific learning goals. I've helped a number of students successfully improve their GAMSAT score, receive interviews for medicine and secure a place on the course. I have volunteered for WPMN that aims to widen participation in medicine. During my time there I delivered mock interviews. I have also sat on interview panels for graduate entry medicine. Perfect! Extremely helpful with tutoring and the whole application process. Responds quickly to any questions you may want to ask outside of tutor sessions. Maddy goes the extra mile to helping with learning but also confidence with exams and applications.
