About Andreas
I'm a current post-graduate year 2 (PGY2) medical doctor currently working within General Medicine. I have tutored the GAMSAT and UCAT for 3 years and my goal is to teach you skills not just to enter medical school but ultimately be a good doctor in the real world. I was an undergraduate medical student so didn't use the GAMSAT for medical school entry but instead sat the test as a personal challenge.

My tutoring is focused on S3 - Reasoning in Biological and Human Sciences, as this is classically the hardest section but also worth 50% of your final score.
GAMSAT S3 study can be overwhelming, both for first-timers who don't know where to start and students coming off an unsuccessful score who are unsure where their preparation went wrong. While a knowledge of basic chemistry, physics, biology, and math is needed, S3 is ultimately a test of problem-solving ability and efficiency under pressure, which are essential skills in the workplace as a medical professional.
I teach an approach to problem-solving and logical reasoning that has assisted many students over the last 3 years of tutoring to consistently high S3 results.
My first lesson focuses on getting to know your strengths and weaknesses and discussing how we can tailor the sessions to maximize usefulness for you. Subsequent sessions begin with a section of theory followed by example questions from my own S3 question bank supplemented by other commonly used question resources.
A successful score on the day should not be left to chance but rather guaranteed by careful strategic preparation in the week to months preceding the test. Let me know if you are ready to take on the challenge!

Perfect! Phenomenal teacher, great communicator and an all round nice guy. Andreas and I have been working for a few months now and he hands down very reasonably priced and super knowledgable in all aspects of S3. His ability to tailor each session to extract the most out of you is something no other tutor I have had before can do.
