Hi, I'm Georgie. I'm a doctor and a public health consultant.
I tutor in section 2 of the GAMSAT, which is otherwise known as the essay section. I've been tutoring in this section since 2015, after scoring 75 in this section in the GAMSAT. I've coached approx. 60 students across the last 8 years, with many achieving 70+ scores.

Hi, I'm Georgie. I'm a doctor and a public health consultant.
I tutor in section 2 of the GAMSAT, which is otherwise known as the essay section. I've been tutoring in this section since 2015, after scoring 75 in this section in the GAMSAT. I've coached approx. 60 students across the last 8 years, with many achieving 70 scores.
My students had great success in the 2023 GAMSAT. Some highlights include:
- 8 students scored over 70 in section 2 of the GAMSAT
- 6 of my students improved by over 10 marks (one even improved from 52 to 71!)
My tutoring covers the following:
1. Writing with logical essay structure: I will teach a logical essay structure and flow that can be used for any essay topic. This structure is repeatable and can be practiced over and over leading up to the GAMSAT.
2. Essay content to include: this includes teaching around politics, philosophy and social sciences. All of these are neccesary to stand out from the majority of GAMSAT candidates, who come from science-based backgrounds.
3. Resources and homework: students will be provided with weekly study resources (links, videos, articles and diagrams), which can be used for independent essay practice moving forwards.
I like to think that I'm friendly, patient and understanding of people from all backgrounds and levels of writing. It brings me great satisfaction to see my students improve, which is why I continue to tutor whilst working full time as a doctor.
My tutoring rate is $50 per hour, or $30 per hour for group sessions.
