About Alexander
I'm a multi-instrumentalist with a Bachelor of Music Technology and over 10 years of teaching experience in schools, academies, and private settings across Australia and New Zealand.
I play guitar, bass and piano, with a background spanning pop, rock, jazz and metal. I started studying jazz piano in New Orleans as a teenager, went on to take jazz guitar seriously in Australia, and have played in bands across multiple genres over the years. Having come to production as a musician myself, I find it's easier to connect with students who are on a similar path.

I offer audio production lessons in Reaper for beginner to intermediate and advanced students, online or in person. My lessons are practical and goal-oriented, shaped around what you're actually working on rather than a fixed curriculum.
Whether you're a musician wanting to record your own music for the first time, or a singer-songwriter ready to go from rough demos to fully realised recordings, we'll focus on the skills that matter most to you.
Topics can include recording and tracking, mixing and mastering, sound design, songwriting and arrangement, music theory for producers, and workflow and session organisation.
The first lesson is free, so we can talk through your goals and figure out the best approach together.

Alex is incredibly intuitive when it comes to audio engineering, producing, and vocal arrangement; as well as playing guitar, piano, and bass.
