About Stephen
I am a full-time game developer and business owner, meaning that I apply the math I teach on a daily basis. This allows me to show how math is usable in a career. I tend to customize my instructions to the student which is why I prefer the 1:1 setting of tutoring versus classrooms.

I specialize not just in instructions, but explaining thought so that learners take new tools with them after the lessons are over. While I have focused my tutoring for years on algebra I, in the past 20+ years I have also extensively tutored AP chemistry, Astronomy 101, and longform English such as essay writing.
