About Deimante
Geography has been the place where my passion for the world comes out. It has been my pleasure to have worked with geography for so long and to continue with my degree and master's. I aim to teach the younger generation geography not only for their exams, but for them to love and find genuine interest in the subject. I am currently doing work experience where I teach year 7/8/9 geography lessons, fully planning them out and executing them. I also have great social skills as I work as a bartender in my free time and babysit, allowing me to understand behaviour control and patience with young students.

When looking at geography exams, there is an importance of balancing knowledge of content and exam technique. After 6 years of loving the subject, I have mastered the balance and acknowledgement of how to achieve both, wanting to help others. I aim to make my tutoring lessons fun, as I believe activities that stimulate a young person's mind are an effective way of learning and my experience of teaching has helped me reach better lesson planning.
