About Efrain
Music existed as my primary language since childhood, though the rigorous study at Berklee College of Music taught me that mastery relies on quiet discipline rather than raw emotion. Many assume that technical proficiency stifles artistry, yet I find that structural constraints actually create the space necessary for genuine musical expression. With 11 years of experience, I guide learners through complex shifting positions and intricate spiccato or staccato bowing.
My instruction emphasizes clear rhythm and timing alongside ear training to ensure players maintain total control over their sound. I'm committed to developing your technique while keeping the joy of performance alive through steady, consistent practice.

The initial meeting requires only your instrument and a willingness to examine your current mechanical habits under a microscope. I use 6 as the baseline level for assessing complexity of your early technical integration.
We start by tuning by ear and auditing your sight reading to establish a baseline for your classical repertoire. I draw upon 11 years of experience to identify bottlenecks in your posture that might hinder long term progress. Weekly practice modules assigned with every class ensure you have a map for your independent study. Reach out whenever you feel ready to refine your craft through methodical, evidence based exercises.
