About Vikrant
An engineer by professions and Musician at heart, I have been playing keyboard since 2006. I have a very strong understanding of music theory and can make it very easy for anyone to break down music into bits and pieces. Being an engineer, I can very strongly relate music to mathematics and can help you see musical intervals in the same way that will help you in the long run . I have performed at multiple college festivals and won several competitions. During my engineering, I was actively involved in Music societies and did multiple gigs in college.

My classes are targeted for beginners or people with a fair knowledge of music theory who wish to learn to play keyboard/piano.
My teaching methodology will involve step by step transition from music fundamentals to advance piano techniques:
1. We will start with notes, harmony, melodies, octaves, scales, chords, the circle of fifth and their relationship with each other.
2. The music principles extended to multiple musical instruments. Relationship and similarities between western and Indian classical music and apply the same to keyboard/piano.
3. Then, we will start with the most optimum finger placement techniques on the keyboard. Begin with a single hand and slowly progress to playing with both hands. Range of harmonies and piano arpeggios to assist the melodies.
4. Western Classical pieces at different difficulty levels along with contemporary Bollywood songs.
This course will be covered over 15 sessions and then at the end, you can comfortably play any new piece with very little help from anyone.
