About Trena
Hello, my name is Lin or you can call me by Trena or Serena.
I have been private tutor teaching Mandarin mostly to English speaking students,
as young as 6 years old but any age is fine especially children because I am good with them and they tend to love me too.
My teaching method is curated according to needs of each students, and attention span
I would use flashcards, learning games such as bingo to interact so that lessons are not boring and to motivate students to want to learn on their own will.
I will try my best to teach but students need to work on themselves too to really improve
And here's my favourite quote: Practice makes perfect
The more they try to speak, read, write, even by watching videos definitely help!
Also, I took Chinese calligraphy as holiday lessons so I can guide students on that too!
