About Masato

Hi, I’m Masato, a native Japanese teacher from Osaka with over 8 years of teaching experience in Japan and Australia.
I have taught international children, adult beginners, hobby learners, travellers, JLPT students, business learners, and advanced students who want to keep or improve their Japanese level.
My lessons are friendly, well structured, and fully personalised to your goal. I will guide you step by step. I believe the best lessons are not only about textbooks

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

About the lesson

-My teaching style is relaxed but well organised!

-You never worry about making mistakes. Mistakes are a natural and important part of learning a language. Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together at your own pace.

-Conversation-based, designed to practice your speaking and listening skills.

-Lessons are tailored to your needs, whether you want daily conversation practice or academic preparation.

-Flexible lesson lengths and time slots available to suit your schedule.

-I create personalised, easy-to-follow lessons using clear, visual materials to help you understand Japanese naturally.

-Lessons can be conducted in either in Japanese or English, so beginners are very welcome.

-In the first lesson, we will talk about your goals, current level, learning style, and interests.

Perfect! Masato came to our first lesson really prepared and was great at facilitating our conversation in Japanese whenever I was feeling stuck. His warmth and experience as a teacher in daily life really came through. I’ll definitely be asking for future lessons.
