About Eloise

I am a passionate secondary student in the European Baccalaureate (EB) system, with 6 years of experience studying English as a second language (L2), which has allowed me to reach a native English level. In addition to my academic background, I was previously a gymnastics coach, where I taught lessons in English to children from diverse backgrounds.

Why Choose My English Lessons? I offer flexible, engaging, and interactive English lessons designed to keep students excited about learning. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they stay motivated while building their language skills. I use a combination of fun techniques, such as games, songs, and storytelling, to make learning enjoyable and effective. I also focus on conversational English, helping students practice real-world scenarios to build fluency and confidence. Whether it’s improving vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, or conversational skills, I focus on creating a dynamic learning experience that encourages active participation and builds confidence. A Typical Lesson Plan? A typical online lesson lasts about 45 minutes through the platform Microsoft Teams. It is designed to be engaging and interactive. I start with a warm-up activity, such as a simple game or review of previous lessons. We then introduce new vocabulary or a grammar topic using visuals and examples. After explaining the material, I encourage the student to practice through role-playing or simple exercises. Each lesson ends with a short recap and a fun activity to reinforce what we’ve learned. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor? What makes me stand out is my ability to create a comfortable, encouraging environment for students. I understand how to make language learning fun and relevant for kids, using interactive methods that keep them interested. Although I am young, this actually works to my advantage as I have a better understanding of how children think and learn. Being closer in age to my students allows me to relate to them more easily and create a comfortable environment where they feel understood. Who the Lessons Are For? My lessons are ideal for young learners, from beginners to intermediate levels, aged 5-10 years old. Whether your child is just starting with English or looking to improve their speaking and listening skills, my lessons are flexible and adjusted to their individual needs.
