About Amaya
I’m passionate about helping younger children learn in a fun, friendly and relatable way. As someone closer to their age, I hope to create a comfortable environment where children feel confident asking questions and enjoying their learning. I’m currently in the top set for all my subjects at school, and I particularly enjoy working with and spending time with younger children. I’m also hoping to earn a little pocket money to help me save towards university.

I want my lessons to be enjoyable, friendly and something your child looks forward to. I’ll make sure each lesson is suited to their age, ability and what they need help with. We’ll go through topics they find difficult, practise together and use simple explanations to make things easier to understand. I’ll encourage them to ask questions and give things a go, without worrying about getting things wrong. As I’m still at school myself, I understand what it’s like to be a student and will try to make lessons feel relaxed and relatable while still helping your child improve and build confidence.
