Hi everyone! I'm Mark – a qualified professional guitarist and teacher with over 10 years’ experience. My passion for helping budding guitarists grow only gets stronger with every student I support on their musical journey. No matter your current level or preferred genre, I’m here to help you achieve your goals and become the player you want to be. I focus on making each lesson enjoyable and practical, with exercises designed to help you not just play the songs you love, but understand them too. I believe that when you connect the dots musically, learning becomes quicker, more satisfying, and way more fun. You can learn with confidence knowing I hold the following qualifications: -PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) -First-Class Honours in BA Popular Music Performance -Grade 8 Rockschool Electric Guitar -Plus a range of additional music certifications Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, I can’t wait to help you on your journey. With over 10 years’ teaching experience and a PGCE qualification, I offer fun, engaging guitar lessons that are fully tailored to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, I’ll help you build confidence and enjoy the journey. I teach all genres—from rock, blues, pop, jazz, metal to funk and more—across both electric and acoustic guitar. Each lesson is designed to be practical, supportive, and focused on real progress, using exercises that not only build technique but keep things enjoyable and relevant to your musical taste. Above all, my aim is to help you feel confident and inspired every time you pick up the guitar!
