About Anvi

Hi, my name is Anvi. I am a school and Wellington representative cricketer who is passionate about cricket and helping younger players learn and enjoy the game. I completed the Young Leaders course, which helped me develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. This course also taught me how to support and guide younger students in sports and activities in a positive and responsible way.

I am patient, friendly, and supportive when teaching. I understand that everyone learns at different speeds, so I make sure my lessons are clear, encouraging, and fun. My goal is to help kids build confidence while improving their cricket skills such as batting, bowling, and fielding.

As someone who plays cricket myself, I understand the importance of practicing the basics and building strong foundations. I focus on helping students learn proper techniques while also making sure they enjoy the game. I always aim to create a safe and positive environment where kids feel comfortable learning and trying new skills.

My lessons are ideal for kids and beginners who want to start playing cricket or improve their basic skills. I am reliable, motivated, and passionate about helping young players grow and develop their love for cricket.

About the lesson

My name is Anvi and I offer fun and supportive cricket coaching for kids who want to learn the basics or improve their skills. My approach to tutoring is focused on creating a positive environment where kids feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and building confidence in their abilities. I believe that learning sport should be enjoyable while also helping players develop good technique and teamwork.

In my lessons, I focus on the fundamental skills of cricket such as batting, bowling, fielding, and understanding the basic rules of the game. I like to break skills down into simple steps and demonstrate techniques so students can clearly understand what to do. I also include drills, small games, and practice activities to help keep lessons engaging and help students learn by doing.

A typical lesson usually lasts around 45 minutes to 1 hour. This gives enough time to warm up, work on a few key skills, and finish with some fun practice or mini game. I adapt the lesson depending on the student's level so beginners can learn the basics while more experienced players can focus on improving specific techniques.

I have completed the Young Leaders course, which helped me learn leadership, communication, and how to support younger students in sport and activities. I am also a school cricketer, so I have personal experience playing the game and practicing these skills regularly.

My lessons are mainly for kids and beginners who want to start playing cricket or improve their basic skills. The goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy the sport, and develop a strong foundation in cricket.
