About Ben
Given my day-to-day job working in teaching, I am very familiar with delivering 1-1 online sessions to learners, based on a set scheme of work, but often providing flexible sessions around work and life commitments. I have had a strong success rate in helping learners through their maths studies, and have had a good response from learners who may initially have feared the subject when starting. I can provide a suggested plan for tackling whatever topic area is causing issues in a learner's understanding, prepare some personalised resources if required and then provide a plan for continued study following the class.

My lessons will cover specific topic areas as identified by the learner from our initial conversations, tasks and completed work. As the lessons progress, then topics will be adjusted flexibly to ensure a full understanding before moving on. Each lesson will last for around 1 hour but willing to have discussions around longer sessions if preferred. In each session, resources will be prepared and provided to continue the practice following the class. Given my experience of working with students on a 1-1 remote basis, I am confident in adapting to any changes or specific requirements the learner may need, and can work with each learner to tailor the approach to what's most suitable for them.
