About Kathryn
Hi, I'm Kathryn, a Scotland-based private tutor dedicated to helping children build confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and thrive throughout their primary education.
With over six years of classroom teaching experience, I decided to move into private tutoring to spend more quality time with my own children while continuing to support the students who need it most. During my time in schools, I saw first-hand the learning gaps that many children face and the challenges schools encounter in addressing them. Supporting children who are struggling and helping them realise their potential is what inspired me to become a teacher, and it remains at the heart of everything I do.
As a fully qualified teacher, I am registered with the GTCS, and my PVG membership is updated annually, giving parents peace of mind that their child is learning in a safe, professional, and supportive environment.
I provide fun, engaging lessons that are tailored to each child's individual needs, helping them develop key skills and achieve success in their learning—often without even realising they're learning along the way!
