I work from the National Curriculum, to support children and young people to achieve their best, both in their exams and for their personal fulfilment.
The first time we meet, there will be a chance to assess current skills and identify areas for development to work on together.
A typical lesson is 30-45 minutes. I believe in skills practice, and in re-visiting work from previous sessions, in order to firmly embed knowledge. I also aim to help learners increase their confidence, and give them a positive learning experience.
My specialism is Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), and I gained my PGCE in French and Spanish in 2020, and since then I've worked mainly in the Special Needs / Alternative Provision sector, teaching subjects from across the Curriculum, including Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Drama etc.
