About Luke

Hi I am a qualified chemistry A-level teacher who also teaches all sciences to GCSE in a Birmingham school. I went to school at King Edward VI Camp Hill for boys then went on to get a degree from the University of Nottingham in Biochemistry. Upon completing this degree I did a PGCE to become a qualified teacher with QTS. I have 7 years teaching experience in schools and being a Head of Science. Whilst teaching I have also enjoyed tutoring in my spare time. I have taught students on numerous exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I am happy to help any student studying for their GCSEs in any of the sciences. Having been on AQA specific courses I would be happy to help with their A-level chemistry course. I have many successes in tutoring with the majority of my students receiving A/A*s at GCSE. In recent years my A-level students have gone onto courses in both medicine and veterinary science. About the lesson

In our lessons we'll use the most up-to-date teaching strategies of active recall and spaced practice to achieve excellent grades. Using my access to specialist exam board questions we will improve our exam technique to thrive in exams.
