About Sehaj
Since the age of 5, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher and here I am today, in a country that I have called home for three years now, teaching young people. Working in classrooms with so much diversity (intellectual, cultural and linguistic), I understand the importance of individualism and celebrate learners for who they are and facilitate them in progressing in their journey of lifelong learning.

With prior tutoring experience and teaching experience, I understand the importance of building one-on-one positive relationships as they are the foundation stone of fruitful learning.
Techniques:
- Gradual release of responsibility. Facilitating rather than just instructing.
- Typical length of a lesson: 45-60 minutes.
- Qualification: Masters of Teaching (Secondary). Prior experience of online one-on-one English tutoring with a different company in Australia. Now, a full-time teacher in Melbourne.
-Trained to teach students in Year levels 7-12. However, with prior experience in teaching aid jobs in primary schools, I can work with Years 3-6 in Literacy.
