About Bo
I am a Latin and European History teacher. I received a master's degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and am working on college professor-level Latin fluency. Teaching is a great passion, and I love seeing students come to new understandings about themselves and our world. In addition, I enjoy coaching cross country in my free time, and I have qualified for the Boston and NYC Marathons. I live in Greenville, SC, with my wife and dog, Willow.

- I teach Latin for the sake of translating ancient texts, and I use classical pronunciation.
- I am best equipped for beginner to intermediate Latin students from kindergarten to college students taking an introductory Latin course.
- I will craft our lessons to be developmentally appropriate for each student according to their knowledge and skill.
- You can expect that will always go over: parts of speech, types of nouns (subjects, direct objects, indirect objects), and fully identifying verb tenses, e.g., "This is a Present Act Indicative, 3rd person plural verb of the 2nd conjugation."
- I can recommend textbooks.
- I have studied ancient Greek and Hebrew and have studied ancient languages for years.
- Latin is the language of ancient philosophy, accordingly, I will point students in the direction to consider ancient truths about what it means to be human.
