About Nanda

Cooking three meals a day for a family with members of various ages, I have cooking experience of over 45 years. I have organized cooking workshops in my locality, for festive cooking, traditional Maharashtrian and Indian desserts, and curries, and now I would like to share this knowledge with a wider group of students.

About the lesson

This class is for anyone, of any age group, gender, or background, who wants to learn cooking.
You could opt for short tutorials only for a specific seasonal or festive dish, if you choose, for example, Modak, Kaju Katli, Papad, etc.
I like to start by giving a brief idea about the dish, its cultural significance, and history before I begin the tutorial.
Students get to work on their creations then and there, while I observe the progress.
This course is for anyone who wants to learn Traditional Indian dishes without the need of having traditional tools/equipments which makes it easy and convenient.

Details

Materials will be informed beforehand. Students will be required to bring their own material for classes at the teacher's residence. One on one classes are good, although, for a better learning experience, a group class of a max 4-5 students is preferred.
