About Grace
My goal is to help students improve their academic performance while becoming more independent and confident learners. My two years of full-time high school teaching experience, as well as three years of tutoring experience and two years of working as an undergraduate teaching assistant, provides me with the skills to develop confident and critically thinking learners.

I am a licensed high school social studies teacher who specializes in helping middle and high school students (grades 6-12), including honors and AP learners, build confidence in ACT/SAT, history, government, economics, sociology, psychology, and academic writing. My teaching approach is structured yet flexible, focusing on breaking down complex concepts into clear steps, with lessons that include guided practice, independent application, and real-time feedback. What sets me apart is my classroom experience with diverse learners and my ability to make challenging material approachable, while strengthening critical thinking and writing skills.
