I taught myself to code from zero during a pandemic with no prior programming knowledge, which makes me a patient, practical, and empathetic teacher who genuinely understands the beginner's journey. My teaching approach is built on one principle, learn by building, not by memorizing. I learned to code entirely on my own during a pandemic with zero prior programming knowledge, so I deeply understand what it feels like to be a complete beginner staring at a screen not knowing where to start. That experience makes me a patient, practical, and empathetic teacher.
In every class, we focus on building something real from the very first session. Rather than teaching syntax in isolation, I explain concepts through actual projects, a working webpage, an interactive UI component, a small React app. By the end of each session, students have something tangible they built themselves.
A typical class structure:
— 10 mins: recap of previous session and doubts
— 30 mins: concept explanation with live coding
— 20 mins: hands-on practice with guided support
— 10 mins: assignment for next session
What makes me different is that I don't just teach theory, I teach how real production code is written. I've shipped apps used by real users, so I share the practical patterns, mistakes, and shortcuts that only come from real experience.
My classes are suitable for complete beginners, college students, career switchers, and anyone who wants to learn web development practically and build confidence through real projects.
