About Shilpa

Primary school teacher offering help across the Maths and English curriculum. I have experience across all age ranges (3-11). I specialise in booster sessions for Year 6 pupils in preparation for SATs exams in May. I also have extensive experience with special educational needs.
I like to have a positive and fun attitude towards learning in order to bring out the best in all the pupils I teach. I approach lessons with enthusiasm and promote independence in pupils; activities match the learning style of each pupil ensuring they reach thrir potential. I ensure the work I provide is suitable for the pupils' ability and challenge pupils where necessary.
My ultimate aim is to help children succeed, build confidence, meet objectives and engage with the National Curriculum.
Previous clients have commented on increased confidence, a changed attitude towards learning, progression in school and enthusiasm during sessions.
