About Anwesha
As a tutor with 5 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry and Molecular Physics, I focus on guiding students through IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry. I believe in combining theory with practice. That’s why I use experiment demonstrations to explain key concepts. Chemical reactions are broken down into simple steps for clarity. I place special focus on Atomic Structure, Stoichiometry, and the basics of Organic Chemistry. These are often difficult areas for learners, but I make them approachable with examples and problem-solving. Past paper practice is central to my sessions, giving students confidence in exam settings. I show them how to manage time, structure answers, and spot recurring themes. My teaching is supportive, steady, and reflective of each learner’s strengths. I encourage active participation and consistent practice. Over time, students develop accuracy and deeper understanding. Every lesson builds toward exam readiness and subject mastery. Together, we can transform chemistry challenges into success stories.

I approach chemistry teaching by combining practical problem-solving with strong conceptual focus. Acid-base chemistry is one area I emphasize, especially pH calculations and their applications. I explain titration clearly, connecting each experimental step to the theory behind it. Buffer solutions are introduced in detail, showing their value in real-life and exam settings. Chemical equilibrium is taught as a central theme, linking together reaction dynamics and calculations. My method is reflective and supportive, helping students move from confusion to clarity. Researchers benefit from the depth I bring to explanation and analysis. Olympiad Contestants gain from my step-by-step strategies for tackling complex problems. Practice is central to my sessions, but I always balance it with discussion. I encourage learners to ask questions and explore multiple approaches. Difficult calculations are broken into smaller, understandable parts. Over time, students strengthen both accuracy and speed. I aim to build resilience as well as knowledge. With this approach, you will gain confidence in chemical calculations and excel in your chemistry journey.
