About Cerise

Hi everyone, I’m Cerise, a Cantonese-loving weirdo from Hong Kong. I think Cantonese is the most electric language in the world—speaking it feels like dancing to a beat! I’m here in the UK to teach Cantonese because I want to share this awesome culture with you all—from “yum cha dim sum” vibes to mastering “gi li gu lu” and “fi li fei le”. I’ll make it a blast! With me around, you’ll see learning a language can be as thrilling as watching a Hong Kong action flick!

About the lesson

Flexible hours/Online/Face to Face/Off-hour chatting/...! Making new friends is always the best way to learn a new language! Share your ideas and thoughts with me and I will try my best to meet them. Have fun in learning Cantonese! Stay tuned!

Perfect! Cerise is a lovely, patient and helpful tutor. I was initially quite nervous to start learning Cantonese, as I would be a complete beginner. However, Cerise has made me feel completely at ease. She makes bespoke lessons to suit my learning goals/needs. My experience has been fun and has overall increased my motivation.
