About ARUNDHATI
I am Dr. Arundhati Mehta, a biotech professional by training and a storyteller by instinct: someone who believes that biology isn’t just studied, it’s experienced. With a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, my work has taken me from cell cultures to computational models, decoding the conversations between cancer cells, metabolism, and immunity. I’m a published researcher with 40+ scientific publications, and an edited academic book to my credit. Over the years, I’ve shared my work at several national/international conferences, panel discussions, and symposiums, shaping my vision of science as a truly global dialogue. Beyond the bench, I’ve worn many coats- researcher, mentor, reviewer and speaker, each one taught me that science is both an art and an attitude. As an International Faculty with the University of the People (U.S.A.), I’ve had the joy of teaching and mentoring students across continents, helping school learners find wonder in their first microscope slide and guiding graduates toward their first publication or fellowship. I serve on editorial boards of reputed scientific journals like Bentham Science & PLOS ONE and have contributed to global collaborations. But at heart, I’m simply gripped with making complex biology feel simple, relevant, and sometimes even… beautifully funny. My classes are equal parts concept and creativity- whether it’s understanding DNA, designing an experiment, or writing a scientific paper. My teaching style blends foundational clarity with a touch of global research insight, ensuring that every student finds not just the right answer, but the right question. I like to think of myself as the mentor who bridges Petri dishes and possibilities — with a pinch of humor, a dash of precision, and a belief that every student deserves a "Eureka" moment. 'Every cell tells a story, and I’m here to help the next generation learn how to listen.'

From “DNA to OMG”, my classes are designed to make Biology breathe. Whether you’re a school student discovering your first cell diagram or a Ph.D. scholar decoding pathways, I tailor every session to you — your curiosity, your pace, and your goals. MY APPROACH: I like to say biology isn’t memorized — it’s experienced. My approach blends scientific precision with curiosity and a touch of storytelling. I believe every cell, molecule, and gene has a secret waiting to be uncovered — and my job is to hand you the magnifying glass, not the answer key. Each session is designed like a mini scientific expedition — equal parts concept, curiosity, and conversation. We decode topics the way a detective reads clues, often laughing at the tiny miracles life hides in plain sight. My teaching style borrows from the “why” philosophy, but I take it a step further — we ask why not?, what if?, and how else could this work? From visual metaphors and virtual experiments to discussions drawn from my teaching experiences, I make learning a living dialogue between knowledge and imagination. WHAT TO EXPECT: • Concept-based learning through visuals, analogies, and real-world examples • Interactive discussions, doubt-clearing, and personalized learning plans. • Building a strong conceptual foundation with simplified explanations. • Dedicated extra time for clearing questions and reinforcing confidence. • Creative assignments and weekly reflections to build scientific thinking • Mentoring for school projects, internships, fellowships, and thesis writing • Research writing & project guidance for advanced students FOR WHOM: From classroom learners (grades 3–12) to UG-PG students and research scholars, my sessions adapt to every level of learning, because curiosity has no age limit. MY PROMISE: Biology won’t just be another subject — it will be a story you’ll enjoy unfolding. Together, we’ll learn how life works, one cell, one question, and one “Eureka!” moment at a time.
