About Ying
I am from Shanghai, China, and I am currently studying at the University of Sydney. I want to teach Chinese part-time because I enjoy interacting with people who grew up in different cultural backgrounds and want to help those who love Chinese culture learn what they are interested in. I also really like children and am very willing and patient in teaching them Chinese！

I’m skilled at storytelling and using examples to help students better understand concepts. I utilize videos, pictures, and other materials to aid in comprehension. My classroom atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, avoiding awkwardness or tension. I have taught for one month during the summer in China, responsible for students from grades three to six. I also assign appropriate homework based on the day’s lessons and provide feedback.
