About Lex

I like to be very transparent about these things. The reason for this is because trust must to be established, as well as communication does.

Currently, I don’t have a job lined up
Which is why I would like to try tutoring again. Not just to make money but to know that I helped a kid. Who is struggling and how that might affect them mentally.

Honestly, college was really tough, but I learned how to write papers every single week, for multiple classes every single week, and I worked at a law firm for quite a while. Debate season is one of my favorites, because not only can I easily find pros and cons, but I am extremely good at playing devils advocate, which is why I pursued law first and why I joined a legal fraternity.

If there’s one thing I can say about myself, is that sometimes I go overboard and do work, even though I’m “not on the clock”. But the reason for this is because I truly care for a kids, future and I do have an impulse to take care of someone so young that may feel almost alone — I don’t know if that makes sense or. But the reason for this is because I truly care for a kids, future and I do have an impulse to take care of someone so young that may feel almost alone — I don’t know if that makes sense or not…

Really, the main point I want to get across is that being paid is nice and helps with survival, but growing up I feel like a lot of kids feel particularly misunderstood and I want to help them feel that they’re not alone. Getting better grades heightens self-esteem, and by doing so they can feel and be the best version of themselves.

One thing I find extremely essential is the bond and relationship between tutor and tutoree.

II also think it’s very very importantThat a line of communication is established best through an app of course rather than a phone number in the case that they need help with certain things during the week and at that time I can’t be there to help them. I am more than willing to take a phone call or zoom because, because it’s important to me that this child succeeds in their classes.

If needed, I can give you a reference as well for my past tutor session that I needed to unfortunately and because of the fact that I moved from Orange County to LA.

One of my best friends is actually an eighth grade science teacher, so I am extremely grateful to have a certified friend who can help me plan and deal with rowdy children as well.
