About Khurram
I am a senior banking and risk management professional with more than 20 years of international experience across Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, and Habib Bank AG Zurich. I am an FRM Charterholder and hold certifications in Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR), Financial Modeling (FMVA), Commercial Banking & Credit Analysis (CBCA), Advanced Financial Modeling (AFM), and International Trade & Finance (CIFT).
Throughout my career, I have managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios, advised senior management and boards on risk strategy, and worked extensively in Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Basel Frameworks, IFRS 9, Trade Finance, and Corporate Banking. I am passionate about teaching, mentoring, and helping students bridge the gap between theory and real-world banking practice. My goal is not only to help students pass professional examinations but also to equip them with the practical skills, confidence, and industry knowledge needed to build successful careers in banking, finance, and risk management.

As an FRM Charterholder, SCR (Sustainability & Climate Risk) certified professional, FMVA, CBCA, AFM, and CIFT holder, I specialize in helping students understand complex concepts in a practical and simplified manner. My teaching goes beyond exam preparation by demonstrating how risk management, credit underwriting, Basel regulations, financial analysis, trade finance, and climate risk are actually applied within banks and financial institutions.
