My approach to teaching Tagalog is friendly, patient, and focused on practical communication. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and useful in everyday life, so I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can practice without being afraid of making mistakes.
I use simple explanations, examples, conversations, vocabulary practice, and pronunciation exercises to help students understand and use Tagalog naturally. I adjust my lessons depending on the student's goals, interests, and current level.
A typical lesson may begin with a short review of previous vocabulary or phrases, followed by a new topic or lesson. We can then practice through examples and conversation, with time for questions and corrections. At the end of the lesson, we review what was learned and identify useful words or phrases to practice before the next session.
What sets me apart is my focus on making Tagalog approachable and comfortable to learn. As a Filipino, I can share natural expressions and everyday language that you may actually hear in real conversations, while also explaining the meaning and proper usage behind them.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, travelers, foreigners living in the Philippines, people with Filipino partners or friends, and anyone who wants to improve their Tagalog communication skills. Whether you are starting from zero or already know some basic Tagalog, I can adapt the lessons to your needs and learning goals.
