About Sophie
I’m a student at Oxford University reading Chemistry, having achieved 12 A*/8/9s at GCSE and A*A*A*A*A (EPQ, biology, chemistry, maths, physics) at A-level.
I am a very experienced tutor having helped over 50 students across all age and ability ranges. I have recently been through the education system and succeeded in achieving top grades, fully appreciating the importance of both understanding concepts and exam technique.
Through tutorials at Oxford University, I am comfortable in a tuition setting and well-practiced at communicating difficult concepts. I am friendly and approachable, encouraging students to build confidence and ask questions, ensuring they get the most out of our time.

I help students of all ages and abilities with science and maths to achieve their goals and to build confidence.
I am very flexible to ensure lessons are tailored to each student; we will discuss what is most helpful for you. I tutor online using a virtual whiteboard to make notes and display diagrams/ practice questions in the lesson.
