About Talia

I am an experienced Singing tutor with 4 years of teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have taught more than 250 students, helping them improve their singing skills, gain confidence, and perform with poise. My teaching philosophy revolves around personalised instruction, encouragement, and creativity, ensuring every student’s learning journey is meaningful and enjoyable.

I focus on vocal techniques, breathing exercises, pitch control, and expressive performance. I also prepare students for recitals, competitions, and auditions, guiding them to achieve their musical goals. Many of my students have won awards and recognition for their dedication and talent.

I believe that singing is both an art and a skill. That’s why I combine technical training with music theory, ear training, and stage presence, giving students a complete understanding of music. My lessons are structured yet flexible, adapting to each student’s pace and interests.

My aim is to help students discover their voice, express themselves freely, and develop a lifelong love for music. I take pride in creating a positive, inspiring, and supportive environment that motivates students to grow every day.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for singing focuses on understanding and adapting to each student’s learning style. Everyone has a unique way of learning music, and I structure lessons to maximise understanding and enjoyment. Creativity is an essential part of my approach—I encourage improvisation, experimenting with vocal styles, and interpreting songs in unique ways. Diplomacy plays a key role in my guidance, providing feedback in a supportive and motivating way.

Along with singing, I teach subjects like music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, vocal technique, and performance skills. I also emphasise emotional interpretation, stage presence, and confidence-building exercises, helping students communicate through their voice. My goal is to create a balanced learning environment where technical proficiency and expressive artistry grow together.

I work with students at all levels, from beginners to aspiring performers. My lessons aim to cultivate confidence, musicality, and a lifelong love for singing, while making learning enjoyable and inspiring.
