About Harini

Hi! I’m Harini Veeraraghavan, a passionate and understanding tutor with 2 years of physical teaching experience through home tuitions, and 6 months of volunteering experience guiding college students in Public Speaking and Logical Reasoning. Currently pursuing my MA in English Literature, I love helping learners grow—both in academics and self-confidence. I’ve taught secondary school students near my home in Accountancy, Business Math, and English (LSRW skills). I focus on simplifying concepts and adapting my methods to suit each student’s unique pace and style. Whether it's grammar, numbers, or speech preparation, I make it easy, calm, and clear. In my recent volunteer work, I’ve mentored college students in Public Speaking and Logical Thinking—fostering communication skills, confidence, and creativity. These sessions inspired me to bring the same energy and empathy into all my classes. I teach in Tamil + English, depending on the student’s comfort. I believe learning should feel like a conversation, not pressure. About the lesson

My classes are designed to be interactive, encouraging, and concept-focused. Whether you're learning Accountancy, Business Math, English, or Public Speaking, I aim to create a safe space where students feel confident to ask questions and express themselves freely. I begin each session with a quick recap to strengthen the foundation before introducing new concepts. For subjects like Accountancy and Business Math, I focus on step-by-step problem-solving, helping students understand the “why” behind each method. For English and Communication Skills, I use real-life examples, storytelling, role-play, and voice exercises to make learning lively and relevant. I believe in blending discipline with empathy. I observe the student’s learning style (visual, verbal, or logical) and adapt my methods accordingly. I also provide weekly feedback, short assignments (if the student prefers), and tips to improve exam performance or communication skills. In Public Speaking sessions, we work on body language, tone, confidence building, and speaking structure through short activities and speeches. Classes are conducted in Tamil + English, depending on what the student is comfortable with. My goal is simple: to help each learner grow not just academically, but also personally—with patience, support, and joy.
