About Jennie

Hi~ I’m a native Mandarin speaker currently studying at Monash University. I’m a very friendly, patient, and easy-going person, and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and helping others feel comfortable and confident when learning Chinese.

I know that learning a new language can sometimes feel stressful or intimidating, especially when you’re afraid of making mistakes. That’s why I always try to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can speak naturally without pressure.

My personality is quite warm and talkative, so my classes usually feel more like conversations with a friend rather than traditional lessons. I really enjoy encouraging students, listening to their ideas, and helping them slowly build confidence step by step.

As a native Mandarin speaker, I have very standard pronunciation and can help students improve their speaking, listening, and everyday communication skills in a more natural way. I also enjoy sharing Chinese culture, daily expressions, and real-life communication styles so students can learn practical Mandarin that is actually useful in everyday life.

I like to make lessons flexible and personal based on each student’s interests and goals. Whether you want to practice conversation, improve pronunciation, prepare for travel, or simply learn Chinese as a hobby, I’m happy to support you in a comfortable and enjoyable way

About the lesson

I hope my classes feel more like a relaxed conversation than a traditional classroom. As a native Mandarin speaker, I can help students improve their speaking, listening, and reading skills through everyday communication and real-life topics.

I usually include daily conversations, useful expressions, and Chinese culture in my lessons, because I believe language learning should feel practical and interesting at the same time. I also pay attention to pronunciation and natural speaking habits, so students can sound more confident and authentic when speaking Mandarin.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I know learning a new language can feel stressful sometimes, so I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes and learning step by step. I enjoy building a friendly learning environment and helping students gain confidence naturally.

Lessons are flexible depending on the student’s level and goals, and are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners of different ages.
