About Chaewon

Hi, I'm Chaewon — a native Korean speaker, university graduate, and experienced educator passionate about helping learners take their Korean to the next level.
Before moving abroad, I spent two years working as an English instructor at a language academy in Korea, teaching children at both primary and secondary level. This experience not only strengthened my fluency in English, but also gave me a deep understanding of what it feels like to learn a language from scratch. I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to hit a wall — and more importantly, I know how to help students break through it.
That empathy shapes the way I teach. I don't just explain — I listen, adapt, and find the approach that works best for you. Whether you're struggling with pronunciation, grammar, or simply finding the confidence to speak, I'll meet you where you are.
As a native Korean speaker, I go beyond what any textbook can offer — teaching you the language as it's actually spoken, with natural expressions, everyday tone, and the cultural nuance that makes the difference between sounding fluent and sounding textbook.

What a typical lesson looks like:
Each session runs for 45 minutes and usually includes a mix of conversation practice, targeted feedback, and structured exercises depending on what you need most that week.
