About Cody
I was born in Perth and have lived in Melbourne for over ten years. I have taught both in Australia and overseas in colleges, universities, and businesses. I have recently started offering one-on-one, personalized lessons here in Melbourne. My first goal as a teacher is to find out quickly what YOU need, and to find out how you learn best. This will help you to improve as quickly and efficiently as possible. I believe this is what separates a great teacher from a good teacher. Every student needs something different!

I love languages and learning. I try my best to make my lessons fun, engaging, and enjoyable. However, I will challenge you too! My lessons are interactive and friendly. They are not lectures. I have the experience required to explain grammar and key points CLEARLY and without confusion. I teach from beginner to advanced English, and I know all the tricky points that students usually have difficulty with. I can get you a great score on your IELTS, FCE, or other tests. As a native Australian, I can help you with natural expressions, Australian slang and idioms that are commonly used here in cities. If you need to speak with native speakers on a daily basis, these expressions are important to know. There are many, so I will only teach you the very important ones that are used in Australian cities. My qualifications are: - Teaching experience of 10+ years in a classroom, one on one, academic English (e.g. research, presentations, essay writing, IELTS), general English, and communication skills at all levels (beginner to advanced) - I have taught children, teenagers, and adults. - I have taught at all levels.
